Man with a Plan (2016)
Nice sitcom and relaxing moment while watching
I am sure you know all about this TV series. What I like about it is, it's very well-scripted and there is not much tension while you came back home from work and wanna watch something with wifey on telly.
I like it and thanks for creators of that.
Shang hai bao lei (2019)
Interesting Movie with nice CGI
Quite entertaining movie!
I liked the love story as well as VFX stuff. Very well done! I live in Shanghai and what I could see that aliens are doing on this city was very interesting.
CGI is quite believable and reminds me of Transformers or even Avengers where the aliens attach the earth.
Directing and acting is not bad, I didn't expect so much at the beginning, but this quality for Chinese marker is remarkable.
I like it in total.

Qi shi qi tian (2017)
Stunning scenery
If you are an adventurous guy and love landscape and nature, you will love this movie. I never get bored whole through movie although I don't speak Chinese.
The cinematography of this movie is awesome, showing the best of nature in China and close to Tibet district. The love story is pure and strong and acting is fine.
The Grinch (2018)
Nice animation, gorgeous lighting
I entirely enjoyed The Grinch, as an adult. But I'm not quite sure if it's appropriate for kids. There are lots of misbehaving like spitting pickles or throwing snow balls into face.
Apart from that, well done to lighters and compositors. It's super sharp and really nice. Animation of characters are stunning and effects are just beautiful.
Di Renjie: Sidatianwang (2018)
Impressive visual effects
If you don't speak Chinese and appreciate visual effects like me, then this movie would be an entertaining movie while having popcorn and sometimes checking your phone. I have watched plenty of Chinese movie recently and I can see they are getting to the highest level in terms of VFX. This one is one the best so far.
Story wise, not bad. You don't expect that much, but in total I am fine spending 2 hours in cinema.
The Man Who Knew Infinity (2015)
It is so inspirational!
If you see something inside yourself that never could get it out, something might be different, watch this movie. This show ushers you to dig inside your thoughts and soul to look for what you might have lost due to society, family or whatever. Then you want it back. This is an
amazing movie about super smart Ramanujan, acted by Dev Patel and Jeremy Irons occurs before World War II. The film begins very quick and introduces characters rapidly to get to the point. If you are after an art movie, you might not like this portion, but as I mentioned, if you wanna know people's biography and get inspired, this movie is for you. Nice cinematography and custom design as well.
Jin ling shi san chai (2011)
Pretty, Brutal and Gentle
The Flowers of War. The name of this movie is chosen perfectly. Several moments during the show, I was about to weep, to shout and cry along the girls. It is so touching. It is so beautiful. Another masterpiece of Zhang Yimou. It comes with beautiful visuals, pleasant musics. As the signature of Yimou, the colour and sound play very well in entire movie. The war scenes are so cruel, so brutal and horrible in terms of conveying and showing the nature of wars. The rape scenes are so so terrifying. And at the end, what you think is, shame on us, on all of humans that make the earth a very unsafe and horrible place for women and children. Thanks to all crew for making this excellent movie.
Lucy (2014)
Impressive and inspiring
I didn't expect Lucy as a brilliant movie while I stepped into theater. Luc Besson is well known for directing Leon, however I told myself I am not going to watch another Leon or The Fifth Element from the director who made amazing movies 20 years ago.
Back to Lucy, alongside all Sci-Fi movies where all talk about one thing in total, Lucy opens a new horizon in telling who we are. Prometheus, for instance, nicely developed the idea of our origins. But Lucy is different. With taking some notes of religions and what it has been written on the Holy book or Quran, you can feel our origin, you can feel the source of creation. That's why I love this movie. It's nice, the plot is easy. However it makes you think, it make you agonize about yourself, about universe.
Thumps up!
Bunohan (2011)
Quite Interesting
To be honest, I never enjoyed watching Malay movie as the story of them are quite boring. But this movie is against all of them.
I saw the movie at premium show. It was good. The plot is nice, actors are well chosen. In terms of cinematography it is quite interesting, the angels are nice. It shows truly Malaysian village life. If you would have a chance to live in Malaysia, this movie totally makes sense. I liked the flow of the story and the way Dain, the director, directed this movie.
On the downside, There is lots of dialog could have removed. Some shots are long, IMHO. The fight scenes are OK. As a person always enjoy martial arts movie, I expected actors while having fights, they would have battle more aggressive. I liked those fighting scenes anyway.
Thumps up!
Noah (2014)
Fantastic VFX, a normal story.
Noah is one of the prophets (mentioned in Quran) who is preferred messenger as well. He lived before Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammad respectively.
With this in mind, I went to watch the movie. It was quite long movie. The visual effects truly helped film makers to bring ancient history to life. Unbelievable amount of unknown animals, beautiful landscapes, matte paintings and all those CG shots of the ark, all brilliant, no question.
Russel Crow's acting was great, as you might expected. In some shots, reminded me of Les Misérables expecting him to sing too. Jennifer Connelly acted nice like all her movies. nothing specials with beautiful eyes while she cries become red, that's all.
The plot is fantasy. What made me really think was, the way the enemy making and hammering irons. In the era of Noah, had Iron yet discovered? All the way along the movie, I kept thinking of this. These small things really make a movie far better, don't they?
Jobs (2013)
Good movie, worth watching it.
I watched the movie with my girlfriend and we both really enjoyed. There is no question it could've made better, there are yet plenty of nice shots and sequences which are worth watching them.
The plot is OK, actors are fine too. In some sequences, you feel it is over-exaggerated by Ashton's acting. He did his best to play Steve role, in my opinion, it's convincing. The disadvantage of the movie is, to me, it is sort of Apple movie than Steve Jobs. It is about how Apple formed, and how Steve created Apple in the first place, and how he glamorously came back to his company after a while.
I highly recommend the movie for whom want to get inspirations, I believe its good enough.
