You've Got Mail is one of my top favorite romance-comedy flick. I never get tired of watching it. The story plot was great, sweet & witty. Even though it's a remake of an old movie titled: Shop Around the Corner. It was even made into a Broadway musical too that was cute.
This film to me is also unforgettable because I am a huge fan of Tom Hanks and have been loving his works ever since the 80's. Especially the movies that he's done with Meg Ryan such as Joe the Volcano & Sleepless in Seattle. Their performances in this film was great and they fulfill their roles beautifully especially in their hate that turned into love relationship was so witty, charming, & heart touching. I swear that You've Got Mail is an unforgettable film that leaves you satisfied with joy.

This is one of my top favorite Neil Simon's film that I've seen so many times on streaming. The first time I've seen this film was in TCM. Glad I did because the plot was so beautiful and raw. Marsha Mason and Kristy McNicols play Mother (Georgia Hines) & Daughter(Polly). Trying to reconnect again by living together. Georgia straight out of rehab trying to go on maintaining sober. While performing a new play that her toxic ex-boyfriend has written about the their horrible relationship, but Georgia seems to have feelings for the playwright. In which he doesn't reciprocate those feelings. She also has these 2 friends Toby & Jimmy that are always loving/supporting Georgia. Those two were my favorite characters. Joan Hackett & James Coco played those roles beautifully as well as Marsha Mason and Kristy McNichols. I admit that all the performances were great and I really loved this movie so much. I believe that Marsha Mason deserved the Oscar for this role as well as Hackett and Coco for excellent supporting performances.
So glad that they made a movie of one of my favorite short stories of Stephen King: The Good Marriage from the Full Dark,No Stars book. The short tale was great as the rest of them in the book. I remember reading it for the first time years ago and thought to myself that this would make a pretty good film. Luckily they did, but I found the book better than the films. That doesn't surprise since that always happens. As for the performance I thought it was great from Joan Allen, Stephen Lang & Anthony LaPaglia. My favorite so far was Stephen Lang who played the role of Holt. The movie he was more intimidating than in the story. A Good Marriage is definitely worth watching. Whether you read Full Dark,No Stars or not. As the story and the film shows that scenario could happen to anyone within the best or worst of families. No one ever truly knows who they share their lives with.
