In my apartment, High Fidelity plays at least once ever 2 weeks. This is something that has depth, that every time you watch it, you catch something you missed the first 3487502934 times. John Cusack is right at home playing the "defeated male", and Jack Black is awesome as the holier than thou record store worker.
Bottom line, watch it alone, watch it with friends, but if you don't watch it with some hot date, you are insane :)
10/10. Easily the best movie in my DVD collection.

Apart from the soundtrack being totally kick-butt, which it is, I really think that Empire is really like a High Fidelity for a younger audience. Both movies have just awesome soundtracks, both deal with love (Empire has it as a subplot, yes, but it's still there) and both don't get caught up with all the pompousness of 20-million-dollar-a-movie actors.
Empire Records is a must see, don't even bother renting it, just buy the thing :) ****1/2

Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed watching Reloaded, however, it should be noted that, as a lot of others have stated here, that you need to watch the original (might be a good idea to watch it immediately before seeing Reloaded), and also what I think a lot of commenters here have overlooked, it wouldn't be a bad idea to watch the Second Renaissance Pts. 1 and 2 of the Animatrix .(Both were written by the Wachowski's, both have EXCELLENT animation, and both shed a lot of light to the world of the Matrix before the original.
Anyway, I thought the movie in the larger sense was very true to form, however, I was a little disheartened by the fact that they kinda "sold out" to corporate sponsorship. I mean, come on, all Cadillac's? Good guys in white, bad guys in black? Can't we figure it out for ourselves? I want to know what happened to that 60's-70's jet black Lincoln with the suicide doors. That was just plain cool, not because it was the newest thing out there, but because it has character, which gave the movie a little character.
All told, something that I definitely have to see again to fully appreciate/understand, and I'm sure it will be a fun experience.
