First off, we aren't supposed to worship objects, which is what they're talking about with the Holy Grail and the crown of thorns. Christians can speak to God anytime, anywhere and don't need relics or pilgrimages to do so. He is with us all the time. (Matt. 28:20) I would go so far as to say that these so-called "relics," were NOT actually a part of Jesus' life. The crown of thorns was "rediscovered" in the private chapel of an Emperor and that smacks of greed right there!
They are obviously just making money off of it and if Jesus were alive today, he would go in and upturn the tables again, bc they are "turning a house of prayer into a den of thieves" once more. I wish the fire HAD destroyed it! One episode of idol worship was plenty enough for me.

This is the kind of life I imagine for my grandkids. I have always pretty much been a minimalist but I can par Hi baby it down even more. We moved from 2500 square-foot of space to 900 that will do it! I'm now in the process of getting rid of one storage unit and basically we're waiting for summer to have an auction! The most important thing is family and community and that is what I want my grandchildren to realise when they are young! I don't want to see them waste all their life trying to grasp for a golden ring that was never really there in the first place! I can only come to the conclusion that many people who scored this so low, do not value family or community. They obviously value their stuff and just don't have the fortitude to part with it, because that is where they get their identity. Why poo poo something you've never even tried??
I've been vegan 45 years. I'm in perfect health and even my 13 grands can't keep up with me! ( your workout is too hard Nana. No it really isn't.) My docs would tell me, "I wish all my patients were like you!" I don't go anymore cuz I'm healthier than them!! When my dad died, when I was 23, that turned my life upside down. I knew his mom also had uterine cancer so that started me on my health journey! My sister is a doctor and it has always been "East meets West" between us. She now has colon cancer and is very bitter that the profession she has given her life to, has failed her. She STILL will not concede that my lifestyle has outperformed hers because she has so much pride. I find it so sad that even when there is PROOF of the success, ppl are, bottom line, too lazy, and addicted to unhealthy food, to want to change and just want what they want. Or they are so closed minded they refuse to believe the science staring them in the face. I've seen ppl NOT even change when their health has become so grave and they are literally one foot in it! My stepdad included. I am living proof my diet works but G-d forbid you ask them to lean into healthier changes. Not even overnight, but gradually, but you would think you just asked them to commit mur-er! Very sad for them, indeed.
