QuackQuack's rating
Something sure happened between season one and season three. The FALL of the ratings for one. Season one was intriguing enough, season two was watchable, but season three was just horrible. Gillian Anderson's voice and fake stoic look on her face were such a turn off. I'm not remotely from Northern Ireland and I could tell Gillian's accent wasn't even remotely authentic. Then the plot just got more absurd as time went on. The criminals all running free on the streets, entering any locked building or hospital they wanted. Even when they were IN jail they were wearing make up, jewelry and tight fitting sexy outfits. Wearing a long sleeve shirt while one has an IV in his arm was just ridiculous.
I'm sorry, I realize hundreds of people have reviewed Mockingjay Part 1, but I had to add my two cents. This is just a horrible movie. It's so cliche and corny its sickening. Basically a war is being fought across thousands of miles and yet the results are instantaneous. The attack force leaves to fight 2000 miles away, and they arrive within minutes. Radio broadcasts, sabotage, bombings, attacks etc... seem to happen 5 seconds after being deployed. It's a very predictable plot, with too much fake love and Pollyanna to even be considered believeable. I found myself rooting for President Snow and his government.
There is no way on Earth a family could lose two little girls, "claim" to have a copy of the voicemail that one of the little girls left them on the day they disappeared, and not turn it over to the police or Feds. It's a ridiculouse premise.
To claim the voicemail still exists but the voicemail is password/code protected and they don't want to lose or delete it, is just insane.
It's been 22 years! You won't let a technician from the FBI or Apple, Yahoo mail etc... try an attempt to retrieve? There might be some background noise, voices etc... (if it even exists) that the feds can pick up.
It's a silly waste of time to watch this show. The aunt who says she has the voicemail should be arrested for sheer stupidity if nothing else.
