Is this a masterpiece? No. Is it incredibly entertaining? Yes. It's a slower build, but well-done overall.
The main character is actually not my favorite, I think she's kind of annoying and not a great actress, but the story keeps hooking me in week after week.
My goddess Kelly Bishop is in this, who you may know from Gilmore Girls, Dirty Dancing, or a million other things. Yes, there are some plot holes (or what seem to be so far). But then the attention to detail with costume and set design is on point, so I'll forgive that.
Ultimately, I am entertained and engaged, and that's really all I want from a television show.
