Of you want tears, and joy, this movie fits the bill. The relationship between John Voigt and Alexa Nisenson is probably the most heartwarming movie. I would recommend this movie for anyone.
The depictions of an inept mother and lawyer depicts a lack of understanding. Understanding, a mother's normal response to her child's supposed actions and a lawyer's defences for their client. The writers need to learn how to make the story flow realistically.
This is one of those feel good movies that's a tear-jerker and plays with your emotions. Expect to be moved.
