A strong follow up to a brilliant first season. Season 2 of Hannibal is more gruesome and artistic and filled with brilliant acting from it's entire cast. Special mention to Michael Pitt for his mesmerizing portrayal of Mason Verger. Mads and Hugh's chemistry was sublime. This season was filled with twists and ends in the most bloody way possible. Now we must suffer the torture of waiting till next year to see what happens. Highlight episode: Mizumono

Though it started off rough, with episodes that were bland and boring like of that of the last two seasons, it picked up mid way through by giving us episodes that took us back to the shows glory days. New characters, more danger and bringing us new and old characters, this became the stepping stone for the show to return to its former glory. Highlight: As Time Goes By

Like a fine wine Hannibal only got better with age, sadly though, just like in the end, the wine bottle shattered and crashed down onto the ground as NBC pulled the plug. However, Bryan Fuller did not let that hinder him and delivered to us an amazing, existential, visceral and visually stunning season that featured two very memorable villains (and performances) in the form of Mason and Francis. The season emotionally resonated and truly showed us how these characters think and humanized them to a larger degree - although the pretentious dialogue was a bit overbearing at times. The biggest flaw of the season was the rushed pace; to squeeze two separate storylines into a single season is a risky move and the folly of such a move was perfectly visible on the screen. However, Fuller was able to embellish it as best as he could and the result could not have been any better. I shall miss this show. Highlight episode(s): Wrath of the Lamb, and Digestive.

Hannibal is a smartly constructed, superbly acted and brilliantly written psychological drama. It feels a bit repetitive at times and some of the gore scenes are a little too much for some people, it is still a clever show with Mads leading with his subtle yet bold performance. I look forward to season 2. Highlight:Savoureux

This is Seinfeld all over again; a great sitcom that deteriorated over time and ended in a very love/hate it way. This season of HIMYM started off weak with plot points that didn't lead anywhere and stories that weren't all that funny or dramatic but it picked up in the second half giving us some of the best episodes throughout the stories, however, as stated, the ending is not particularly great. It was rushed and in all honesty, felt like a cop out. I expected more from the series but all in all, it was an ok ending. Another show that fell to the last season curse. Highlight: How Your Mother Met Me

An action packed season that had an intriguing storyline that was propelled by it's brilliant choreography, improved acting, strong characters and unexpected twists.

Arrested Development came back with a bang. The show started off a bit shaky(still liked the first few episodes) but got better with each episode, delivering the clever, witty humor we've come to expect from the show. Though this season did suffer due to less interaction between the cast members, it made up with its story, clever new gags and the brilliant way of putting the stories together. Plus, I loved the cameos and the cliffhangers they've left us with. "Help daddy get his rocks off" Highlight: Blockheads

Season score: 8/10 Highlight Episode: The Climb Review: This season was a step down from the stupendous second season and for good reason: the plot was slow, the action, though still top of the line, was not as exhilarating as before; the flashbacks weren't very immersive and the entire season was riddled with melodrama, making it seem more like soap opera rather than a show about superheroes. Some great character development for Thea and Laurel but a devolution in Felicity's character which resulted in a lot of groaning and headaches on my part. Overall, an enjoyable season but not the best we've seen.
