The first couple seasons were fantastic. Really well written and I especially loved the dynamic between Cara Danvers and her boss. I really really dug this show. I know a lot of people that loved it too.
But then it suddenly changed.
That fun super hero dynamic between characters was gone and it appeared that the show was handed over to new writers who were more interested in making a political statement than having a good story with dynamic characters. Very disappointing.
The show took such a huge nose dive that they absolutely ruined it for a large portion of their audience. Everyone I talked to who previously loved the show was really unhappy with what they did with it.

This script had a great team to make it a reality. The cinematography style. The intro was so cool. Fantastic acting. The concept is cool no matter how many times it is done. The music is very well done. The directing and suspense there.
The problem is that the script was, not only as cheesy as others have stated, but just very unrealistic. It was stupid. I got the impression that who wrote it was very uneducated. The dialogue was lame. But even with that script in their hands, the actors and crew were able to crush it. So much talent to be observed here.
This is one of those films where I just wonder how this script got past so much talent without getting a rewrite.
