Vikings: Valhalla (2022)
original series is much better
Because of cooler characters;'= - Ivar thr Bonless, Loki,, Ragnar, and so on and the story was better but scenery was equal to first series. Enjoyed watching both but #1 held my attention all the way through and in this one I kind of lost interest. Battle scenes were too repetitive.
The Protégé (2021)
A Senseless Piece of Pornographic Violence
That wastes the talents of some great actors. I suspect they agreed to be in it because it was a lucrative paycheck for them. But they don't want to make too much trash like this or their fans may change their minds about their talents. And the story was unbelievable.
Fedeltà (2022)
Actors Were, Scenery was Good bute
Everything else was boring and trite. This movie has been made at least 100 times so I question Netflix's reason for making it again. Surely there must be some original scripts floating around in the world that aren't tired imitations.
St. Vincent (2014)
Don't Expect It To Win Any Awards
But i thoroughly enjoyed each and every minute. We need movies like this in these unsettled times. Reminds me that we are all in this together. I really liked the actors and the story and won't forget it any time soon. We need more of these streamers. Go lighter on the teen age stuff and give us some of these. Thanks for a wonderful viewing evening.
Inventing Anna (2022)
The Usual Netflix Curse - Way Too Long
Acting was superb except I got sick of hearing Anna's fake accent. By the end of the sixth episode. I was hoping that Anna and all of her admirers and enablers would die in a terrible automobile accident and I wouldn't have to look at them anymore. I just don't understand how many stupid people could be in NYC.
In from the Cold (2022)
Predictably Boring
Not much of a story, w-a-a-ay too long and unsatisfactory ending. Acting could have been better, seemed like there was one violent scene repeated over and over and over.
Home Team (2022)
Won't Earn Any Awards
But I enjoyed watching. Its a throwback to those old inspirational movies about real people (athletes, soldiers, etc) who win in the end. Maybe we need some more of these.
The Last Days of Capitalism (2020)
An Overly Long Piece of Dreck
Pointless story, subpar dialog and acting and totally boring. I've never understood why someone thinks that contemplating his/her navel is riveting cinema for the movie going public.
Munich: The Edge of War (2021)
Finally, Netflix has a Good One
Excellent acting, a good period piece (where did they get all those cars_) and an excellent story even though knew the ending in the beginning. Netflix did well with this one. They need to do this more often.
Ghahreman (2021)
A Good Story, Good Acting, Didn't Like the Ending
But my biggest criticism was that it was 45 minutes too long. My attention started wandering as the writers kept throwing roadblocks in the story. It probably could have used about five fewer of them and the ending could have been the same.
Under Suspicion (2000)
Quite Possible The Worst Movie Ever Made
Netflix must have paid Freeman/Hackman large upfront producer/actor fees for this piece of dreck. It is totally unbelievable especially the ending. Freeman/Hackman must be hard up for dough. Won't watch any more of their movies. Netflix will run out of credit if it persists in bankrolling D movies.
Intrusion (2021)
One of the Dumbest Netflix
Efforts yet. Terrible story, bad acting, no continuity and boring from beginning to end. I hope Netflix paid all participants minimum wage. Thats what its worth. Shame on you Netflix.
Undercover (2019)
Seasons 1 and 2 Were Great
But Season 3 is the best yet. I hope there's some way they can work in a few more seasons. The writers deserve A+ for awesome story and characters and the story was straightforward with no sidetracks. A great series.
The Tender Bar (2021)
I'm not a George Clooney Fan
But I have to admit he did a good job with this movie. Who knows, I may admire him for more than his ownership of a liquor company that he sold for hundreds of miliions.
On the other hand, I've always been a Ben fan because he's never Ben Affleck in his roles unlike Kevin Costner who can't escape himself in his movies. Ben did a great job in this movie which I enjoyed. He was Uncle Charlie, through and through.
Friends with Money (2006)
This was a Very Entertaining Movie
But it ended too soon. I want to know more about the slob who told Jennifer his secret. If it was true an entire movie could have explored that subject. Acting was good and the story was well told. Please make a sequel exploring the new couple's lives in after they met. Also, did she ever return the bottle of face creme to her client?
Los favoritos de Midas (2020)
Some of the Actors
Gave subpar performances and the ending was confusing to the point that I really didn't understand what happened which ticked me off because I spent so much time watching each episode. One actor smiled too much which marginalized the character.
Stay Close (2021)
Very Story With Enough
Holes to drive a Peterbilt through it. I thought this was going to be a great series but its just a B potboiler with actors mailing their performances in.
Le bal des folles (2021)
Great
A great movie. Good story, great acting and just the right length. Amazon did will with this one. Almost makes want to watch another French movie.
I don't know anything about French actors but whoever played Eugenie is equal to the best in America.
The Valhalla Murders (2019)
A Most EXcellent Series
A great story, well told. Superb writing, directing and especially acting. Everyone earned an A+ for this one. Hope they have more in the works with Netflix. Series like this make Netflix my first choice for streaming TV. Thank you everyone for entertaining me for so long.
The Silent Sea (2021)
I Didn't Like This Series at all
Because it seemed like 90% of it was about people walking down long dark halls and talking in slightly above whispers. Also there was a lot of overacting. The characters got fake concerned looks on their faces so often as to be humorous. I think the SoKo's blew this one. Back to the drawing board. Hope Netflix didn't pay a lot of money for this. I know the Koreans can do better.
Lulli (2021)
a terrible movie
Whose characters were all 1st year theater students. The women were especially bad and the men slept through their roles. I must have my head examined for watching dreck like this.
Landscapers (2021)
Extremely Boring and Probably Not Worth
My time but the lead characters are two of my favorite actors. Its too bad they wasted some of their talent on this. HBO blew it on this one. Could have been more entertaining but somebody decided the audience wanted boredom instead of a story. I watched the first and last episode only and got the drift .
Calibre (2018)
Very Predictable
Watched the first hour and flipped thru the remainder in 5 minute intervals and didn't miss a thing. A ho hum boring Sunday night movie. Wouldn't recommend it other than a way to pass time.
Don't Look Up (2021)
An OK Movie
Not sure how it could have been made any better. Actors were good, story was excellent although a little over the top. I enjoyed it but have seen much better movies on Netflix and Prime.
Obsession (2019)
pretty bad movie
Everyone associated with this deserve an F for effort. It could have been so much better but everyone seemed to quit exerting any effort after the intial sex scene.
