I saw Coxwell and Gerrard on a transpacific flight - well worth seeing! A fresh twist on Boy meets Girl.
The script is original with some quirky humor such as the "smaller bills, please" song - can;t remember the exact wording. A really nice touch - taking an everyday occurrence that is universal and has elements of anxiety, public humiliation, planning and manipulation, and creating a song about it.
The cast is fine - beautiful girl and middling suitor - with good support cast. Very good execution of the expected elements, including the Big Dance Finale showing technical flourishes and choreographing that are beyond the budget.
A lot of entertainment packed into a 15 minute short, and it looks a lot bigger than the reported $30K budget. And I just saw Coxwell and Gerrard won an award in Houston. What's next from Stephen Lategan?
