This was a good story very well acted with characters you genuinely rooted for.

It was a bit of a slow film, but even so, there seemed to be something a little off about the pacing. It was a ninty minute film (the correct length for a movie!) but it did feel longer, which I think was due to a bit of repetitiveness in the horror scenes, and maybe a handful too many fantasy/flash back sequences.

The horror was done really well though, as was the unfolding of the characters backstories, (and the reveal!) By and large, I think the characters reacted to the supernatural events in a realistic way, which can't always be said for horror films.

I'm not sure how I felt about the ending.

Bwhahahah that was great! I really enjoyed this. I...am not in any way shape or form a foodie, so I deeply enjoyed the mockery of those who are. There have been a number of times in my life that I have found myself in fancy restaurants where the waiter tries to make something like chicken breast rolled in ashes sound appealling, and that after my expensive meal where I was served one french fry, a pea, and half a rabbit thigh, I've gone to McDonalds.

It was so well acted. Everyone was fantastic in their roles. John Leguizamo was a delight, Anya Taylor-Joy is perfectly cast, and Ralph Fiennes just nails his part.
