A must watch for fans of bad movies as it encompasses every bad movie element-bad special effects, laughable performances from most, bad creature costume, confusing plot or lack thereof, continuity issues, nudity for no reason, and a gonzo out there Sasquatch love scene-I am not joking.
Of the films enduring qualities is that director Rick Montana and the rest of the cast and crew don't seem to take themselves serious.
Also this has to be the only Bigfoot movie set in Alabama as opposed to the remote Pacific Northwest. I caught it as part of a triple feature with Shriek of the Mutilated and another Yeti film that I can't remember.
This film could be deemed a Sasquatch-exploitation film. Give it a watch if you can find it.

Caught this ultra low budget action movie going on PLEX the other day. PLEX and TUBI are streaming some pretty obscure movies and this being one of them.
It being a Troma release I wanted to give it a watch. While it certainly won't be everyone's cup of tea it definitely has a late 90s low budget nostalgia vibe about it. It's a Troma release so that already sets the tone in my opinion. I would describe the movie at best as just mindless action escapism. The producers and director were smart enough to include enough gory action and just enough eye candy to keep you watching.
Lastly I was shocked at some of the cast who obviously went on to bigger things.

Being a fan of Pamela Sutch I rented this a while back on Amazon and was not disappointed. While it's not your typical indie horror/suspense film given its underlying primary plot, but the film's race against the clock and countdown pacing amps up the tension nicely. The movie's pacing is one of its stronger points.
The movie also does a good job of working within its budgetary confines way better than most indie films. Also the casting is pretty spot on with no distractions and the leading ladies are to be commended for sure. Would like to see this duo of leading ladies return in another project for sure. The effects and the music are also on par or better than similarly budgeted films.
My only critique would be possibly adding a touch more of backstory, but that is a very minor critique.
Overall it's a fun watch especially for indie film lovers.
