It is apparent that the movie was shot on a shoestring with some local but good talent. Having said that, the characters were sympathetic enough to draw your interest. The music was appealing and simple but fit the feel of the story. The standouts in the movie were Mitch Berlingeri and Ray Calabrese, whom I have seen in other low-budget pieces. Monica Sanders' Andie needed more depth of character and appeared to be weaker than her leading man. Indies are a special breed unto themselves with potential beginnings of a future John Waters or David Lynch. I am still looking for more information on David Manocchio, the writer/director (with a bit part) as his off-beat sense of humor is refreshing.
