Angeli was one of the cartoonists who marked my youth, along with Laerte, Glauco and Adão, sometimes I saw his strips in my school books from characters like Luke e Tranta or Skrotinhos, however, I had never seen anything with Wood & Stock before this film. This film leaves a lot to be desired, as the film is very slow and little happens other than the story being just about two old unemployed hippies who want to make a living as rockers despite having no talent. This is a script you would expect coming from MTV, but the film still fails in this regard, as no music is heard during the film and the protagonists only make noise with their instruments as a form of joke. The film even shows a terrible subplot in which the son of one of the protagonists feels uncomfortable having to put up with such an irresponsible father and wants to leave that house. I'm not going to say that Angeli's work is terrible, because I saw the films Dossiê Rê Bordosa and Bob Cuspe Não Gostamos de Gente and they also had many dirty jokes that worked much better than this film made by Otto Guerra, which only follows the standards of his studio in showing vulgar films and stories that make no sense at all.
If you want to see good films based on Angeli's work, I recommend watching Dossiê Rê Bordosa and Bob Cuspe instead (mainly the last one).

When I was younger, I remember seeing a lot of Adão Iturrusgarai's comics in my school books. He wasn't exactly my favorite cartoonist, but I found some of his strips funny, whether they were about characters like Aline or Trupe, but I had never seen anything with Rocky & Hudson before. I found out about this film on a Wikipedia page and only watched it recently. And my review of the film, well...
I really wanted to like this film, because I liked the visuals of the 90s animation, besides it being the first Brazilian adult animated film. The biggest problem with this movie is that its story doesn't make sense, the movie starts with a segment about a mad scientist who creates a flying gun that lasts a few minutes and then is forgotten by another segment with a longer duration where the characters travel aimlessly on the road with the grandmother of one of the characters. The film is extremely slow, almost nothing happens in 1 hour of film and there are unnecessary scenes like when a musical scene occurs at the beginning of the film and all we see is a white ball bouncing in the lyrics of the song over a black background. I watched this movie until the end with great effort, because it was such a boring movie that I couldn't wait for it to end. The only positive thing I would have to say is that this film is at least more watchable than Otto Guerra's later films Wood & Stock and Cidade dos Piratas.

After spending some time watching the TV series, I found many pros and cons to the series. The cartoon started off weakly, but there was an improvement in the animation and script in the second season, but there were still some flaws that led to some bad episodes and unlikable characters. I gave the movie a chance and it surprised me, it seems like the studio decided to focus a lot to bring something decent and not just another random and nonsense story, since this is ending the story started in the series. The movie still had a few problems like Gajah still being flanderized as an arrogant and selfish character in some scenes like he was in the last two seasons of the show, but otherwise the story is worth watching mainly because of the plot twist in the ending.
