Superb!
A story so cleverly written, perfectly executed direction and awesome performances. Definitely one of the best thrillers I've experienced this year. A screen gem.
In the Family (2011)
Simply the best in a long while.
Definitely one the best films I've ever experienced. Beautifully written, directed and played out by each and everyone. Patrick's way of telling a story is a league of its own and there's not many films I know that uses the art of simplicity to make this a screen gem that is hard to ever forget in my lifetime.
Thank you Patrick for having me on this ride. I'm truly humbled.
Its films like this that's Oscar worthy that slip by the cracks of the selection panel that the world will regret not giving it its due.
Disclaimer: I don't know Patrick BUT I do anything to shake this man's hand.
Don't Make Me Go (2022)
A meteor shower of stars for this one.
One of the best of its genre and a darn awesome movie. Excellent performances and wonderful story that makes us all human again. Fall in love with Wally and fall even deeper in love with John cho.
A screen gem everyone should watch at least once in their lifetime.
Get Out (2017)
A screen gem.
This is possibly the best thriller I've watched this year. This movie straps you on a roller coaster ride front the start and when the ride is over, you don't wanna get off.
Excellent story, excellent performances and excellent EVERYTHING.
If there's a movie worth staying up for and missing work the next day. This is it.
The Night House (2020)
A gem.
Really fine performances accompanied with a great storyline. Everything just fits snugly into this gem of a movie that will make us appreciate what a fine film is all about and this is a template of an incredibly fine movie.
No Exit (2022)
Really awesome!
Nail-biting roller coaster ride accompanied with awesome performances and beautiful camera work. An enjoyable thriller that didn't disappoint at all. Enjoyed myself and would definitely recommend this to my friends too.
Wrong Turn (2021)
I love it!
This resets all the Wrong Turns. Believable plot. Great story and an awesome fresh breath of life to this genre of films. The story carefully maps out everything and every loose end is tied gently just enough for a sequel maybe?
The Good Neighbor (2022)
Hitchcock 2022!
Possibly one of the best in its genre. Story was excellently paced, plot thickens and builds up to a climax that brings its audience on a roller coaster ride that is only familiar with Hitchcock fans plus a very updated feel. Well done!
In the Company of Women (2015)
A true blue masterpiece!
Possibly one of the most beautiful stories ever written. Impeccable performances accompanied with equally beautiful shots. And may I add that both the guys are as sexy AF! Yes both, watch it and you will understand. Brilliant in every aspect and definitely a template of what a screen gem should look like. This really tugged some serious chords in my heart that I thought was dead. Thank you, its been an honor to have experienced this masterpiece in my lifetime.
Kristy (2014)
Slasher gem worth the night in.
Definitely one of the best slasher movies to date. Its definitely worth staying home on a Friday for. Great acting and a guaranteed adrenaline pumping ride. Nice!
Devoured (2012)
Brilliantly thought of!
A must watch for horror connoisseurs. Beautifully shot with fine performances by the cast. This psychological horror promises to bring you for an unforgettable ride through a place other horror movies don't. This is what I mean by thinking out of the box. Bravo!
Death in Texas (2020)
A SUPER WHOPPER of a movie!
Beautifully shot, a story beautifully told and performances at their finest. Possibly one of the best things that I have had the honor to watch during this pandemic and in my lifetime. Sometimes a message is told this way and this is the only best way.
The Disappointments Room (2016)
NOT disappointing at all!
Beautifully shot with great performances. Intriguing story with creepy parts that made my skin crawl. I must add that Kate Beckinsale looks gorgeous blonde. The stunning house used for this movie is just perfect for the story. And that alone is enough for some visual orgasm to happen.
I don't understand the bad and cruel reviews on this awesome movie... Maybe they didn't get the part after the audition? Who knows?
Rage (2021)
This is a SERIOUSLY good whodunit gem!
Beautifully filmed with a story line that makes you wonder WHO and WHY and HOW to the end. Great directing and finest performances by everyone. A cinematic gem of this genre and quality should be given ratings of at least a 7 onwards unless you're looking for the pace and action of Captain America or Spiderman. I applaud everything about RAGE and I will stand by my sincerest compliments any day and time.
By Night's End (2020)
Loved it!
Love the story and the performances by the entire team. Very believable dialog and good couple chemistry. Cool!
I can't understand why some people who give this movie a low rating and have to be so mean with their words. I mean seriously why are some trolls so bitter and off-putting.
Thumper (2017)
I would rate this 11 stars.
Why 11 stars? Being from the same industry, I appreciate the post production color grading that set the mood perfectly for the story. The carefully thought of shots that made each frame a "living" frame so that the actors can easily breathe life into each scene in perfect rhythm.
Performance is at its best. Possibly the most convincing and realistic as it gets. Faultless.
Thumper is seriously the gold standard template of how a movie of this genre should be. Any changes to this screen gem would be gilding the lily. Well done.
Great White (2021)
It's the JAWS of this era!
Thinking that its going to be another shark flick with fake CG monsters and predictable outcome. I was wrong. Very wrong.
An hour and a half of high anxiety ride with convincing acting from everyone. A no fuss yet exciting plot with a great ending. The shots were awesome and the shark looks damn real with its sandy skin, rows of teeth and movement etcetera etcetera. I was almost convinced there was a shark trainer behind the camera some where.
Give this movie a shot and you will agree that this is possibly one of the wayyyyyyyy better shark movies in a long long while.
The Djinn (2021)
Wickedly genius!
Without any lines for over an hour, just relying on emotions and expressions that got me engaged totally to also notice the fine Directing and camera work. What else can I ask for? This is a whole new level of Art in film for 2021.
Wickedly genius! I love it!
Duress (2009)
Its always been there...
A story so dark that no child should ever watch. Brilliantly acted by everyone. Plot at the end is just mind blowing. This screen gem is another gold standard for what a dark thriller should be like.
Goodbye, Butterfly (2021)
Loved it!
Awesome story with believable and convincing acting by each and every one. Brilliant script with thought provoking lines from the murderer. Overall a very entertaining roller coaster ride which I'll definitely recommend my friends to watch.
Awesome job! This is a keeper! I really really really love it!
Rattlesnakes (2019)
I am quite sure Hitchcock will nod.
A gem of a film so rare and utterly brilliant and all aspects. Beautifully shot and told through great directing and performances. A DEFINITE screen gem that I am sure Hitchcock himself will nod in approval. Well done!
School's Out Forever (2021)
Report Card says E for EXCELLENT!
Excellent in all aspects. This should be winning at the film festivals.
Our House (2018)
To a Perfect T!
This is exactly how a ghost story should be like and this is exactly what ghosts are like...
No scare jumps, no horror make up.
All you need is to listen, see and feel.
Absolutely convincing acting from EVERYONE accompanied with fine Directing and post production that set the mood for a definite screen gem. And last but definitely not the least, THE soundtrack... Omg. Add everything together and its a perfect 10.
