10 stars! Vida just gets it right - Yes I like almost everything that's queer - But Vida is an exceptional show. The world is so specific and makes me see one of my favourite parts of LA in such a new way. It really transports you to the world so viscerally. I love the charactets and I love that it's afraid to do good queer sex scenes - something that is missing in alot of media. Mishel Prada and Melissa Barreta are two of the most exciting actors out there at the moment. Tania is gifted and capable show runner, and her dialogue feels so real and authentic. I'd seen one of her plays before and that is what lead me here. Would highly recommend Vida to any WLW audience.

I've been looking for positive queer stories since watching heartstopper and this one is really lovely. It doesn't have the budget of some of the others - but hopefully people will now start to see that LGBT content can be profitable and invest more in it. Apparently they shot this film in 10 days. So for that alone it's pretty much a triumph. The soundtrack and the script were also excellent. Would definitely recommend to queer teens!
