As an avid UFO buff this documentary is one of the best. Eduard Billy Meier is a UFO Contactee. An extraterrestrial woman named Semjase had face to face extended conversations with Eduard Billy Meier in the mid 1970s. During these conversations Billy was instructed to write-down their conversations. Meier has written over 30 books most are only available in German. Meier also took hundreds of photographs & video's of the "Beamships" (UFOs) which are included in this video. The documentary was filmed on location in Switzerland, Scotland & the USA. David Warner does a great job narrating this documentary. It also features the team of investigators Col. Wendelle Stevens, Lee Elders, Britt Elders & Tom Welch. This team was the first group to do an exhaustive study of this controversial UFO case.
This is the Documentary that shook up Egyptian Archaeology when it was broadcast on NBC television. "The Mystery of the Sphinx," introduced American viewers to the discovery by John Anthony West and Robert Schoch that the Great Sphinx of Giza might be thousands of years older than its assumed date of 2500 BC. Narrated by Charlton Heston, the documentary provides evidence that the ancient Egyptians possessed scientific knowledge unknown to us and carried on the wisdom tradition of an earlier lost civilization. Finally this documentary been released on DVD.
This was an amazing eye opener! I alway felt Modern Archeology was rock solid, but now I can see how data & cover-ups really are going on in Archeology! Here's some back round info on the show. On February 25, 1996 NBC aired a one-hour prime-time special, The Mysterious Origins of Man, hosted by Charlton Heston. Controversy exploded in the academic community following this telecast. Much of the material for the program was taken from the book Forbidden Archeology, featuring interviews with co-authors Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson on the show.
