The Night They Knocked (2019)
Better than I expected
It was pretty scary and had some memorable kills in it. Nothing really groundbreaking but very watchable. I enjoyed it overall. If you like The Strangers, you will probably like this.
Talon Falls (2017)
A pretty standard torture horror movie
This was like if Haunt met Hostile. It's not great but it is far from terrible and it features some cool gore and kills. If you're into this type of thing, there are far worse options out there.
Slayed (2020)
It's low budget schlock but good low budget schlock
I wasn't too impressed with the film overall but it was fun. I think that was the intention (at least I hope it was). The acting is pretty weak sometimes but the movie still ends up working way better than it should. If you like movies like Silent Night, Deadly Night then you should really enjoy this one.
Hell House LLC (2015)
A near perfect found footage film
It's scary and very effective especially for a found footage movie.
