My mom has Alzheimers. She's up there in age, and luckily her and my dad are retired, so he can watch her most of the time. I live at home also to assist, it takes a village. her condition isn't ice cream in the cupboard, its lotion in the refrigerator. This disease is so slowly painful, because day after day u see the person u love becoming less of a person, and more of a shell. I've seen Alzheimer's many times, the end result is always the same. We just wait for it to come, as agonizingly slow as it is.
This movie has some genuine insightful moments that, is u are experiencing the same, u know exactly how it feels. Well captured by the writer and well portrayed by the director. The one thing the movie cannot convey is how often those moments happen throughout a regular day.
