I've adored this cinema series. The silliness. The horror. All of it...until now.

Everyone has a limit (I'm looking at you, A Serbian Film), even for the most-devote of horror fans. I cannot, and never will, find any entertainment value in bringing kids, little kids to boot, into the mix. It's just too much, and it's concerning to me as a horror fan.

Not sorry...this Terrifier sequel missed big time and I couldn't finish it.

If seeing little kids being slaughtered for "entertainment" is your jam, this trash is for you. I have never been so disappointed in a movie sequel that I've looked forward to since Legally Blond.

Do better, Terrifier.

Okay, soooo...I'm mostly caught-up on current worthy-of-watching "horror" movies. I've basically rated all that I have watched thus far, but none have compelled me to write a review because in a while because none are have been memorable.

So far, it is my favorite horror/thriller of 2024.. Original. Smart. Acting top-notch. The whole Mary Ann! There is a lot I would like to comment on, but I don't want to give anything away. My advice is to go in as blind as possible. Truly, stop with my review and don't read any more for potential spoilers.

This gem was a pleasant surprise, and a solid 8. Give it a go!

What a sweet movie. You will find no smut or grand CGI here. You will, however, find a great story about how getting older doesn't mean you stop living...even if you do it at a different place than your younger self. Stay to the end of the credits to see the real Thelma...she looks like a hoot!

Stellar cast, truly...and I always love to see Parker Posey...in anything. Light laughs from start to finish. Great soundtrack that complimented the subject. This is a strong entry for the "Best of Indie 2024" and proves you don't need a huge budget if you have great writing. Solid 8/10 and will appeal to nearly all ages.
