The Neverending Five Nights at Freddy's Ripoffs
5 January 2024
Look, people don't have to like the Five Nights at Freddy's movie, but good god, this movie doesn't try to hide it. Like, after this train wreck, people need to apologize to the Five Nights at Freddy's movie.

Movies like The Banana Splits Movie and Willy's Wonderland, at least tries to do SOMETHING unique with their movies and helps them stand out, but Freddy's Fridays does nothing engaging to even stand out from the rest.

But hey, when you got the people behind "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey" on this, it's best to make sure you have ZERO expectations. They don't even bother trying to change the poster and the name of the mascot! So do you REALLY expect this company to try and think outside of the box?

At least the Five Nights at Freddy's movie has incredible practical effects and animatronics, likable characters, cool settings, and it at least tried! Yes, the movie has it's flaws, but you can't say that there is no effort or passion in the FNAF movie. If they didn't care, they easily could gone the "Blood and Honey" route and got garbage Freddy Fazbear masks, and called it a day. But that's not what they did now, is it?

So while I appreciate projects like The Banana Splits Movie, Willy's Wonderland, The Hug, etc. For at least trying with their movies, Freddy's Fridays is a Five Nights at Freddy's ripoff that's best for everyone, to be forgotten.

Warning: Spoilers
I found out about this movie from a video talking about "The Top 10 Worst Scooby-Doo Movies," and I honest to God didn't even knew this movie existed.

So I decided to give it a watch and... yikes. And the thing is that I like both Daphne AND Velma, but this is honestly a completely pointless movie.

Like, what's the point of making a Scooby-Doo movie, when you don't even have Scooby-Doo in the movie?

And it can also be very uncomfortable too! Some point during the movie, they do the "eyes glow in the dark gag" that's a famous gag in Scooby-Doo, but Jesus Christ, it looks so horrifying in this! I would say that gags like that can only work in cartoons, but I can't even say that because "Scooby-Doo: The Mystery Begins"... ACTUALLY did it a bit better! Yeah it looks bad, but at least it tried to pull it off. Here it just looks like nightmare fuel!

WORST. CASH-IN. EVER.
16 April 2022
I grew up with the original "Scooby-Doo on Zombie-Island," and I absolutely loved it... so when a sequel comes out 20 years later that not only doesn't need to exist, not only the animation looks bland compared to the incredible animation in the original, AND not only is it a terrible way to celebrate the 50 Year anniversary of Scooby-Doo, but when it completely retcons the amazing things in the original, you're gonna get a terrible sequel. The only thing that I can say that was..."decent" was the title forming out of the water, and that's it.

THE BEST DISNEY DIRECT TO VIDEO SEQUEL!!!
24 November 2020
I know that this is one of the movies during the "Disney Direct-To-Video" era, but I have to say... this is freaking amazing! This doesn't top the original movie, but I don't think the people that made this was going for that. Besides, I'd rather watch this than Hunchback of Notre Dame 2, Mulan 2, and Belle's Magical World!

THE BEST HORROR B-MOVIE
26 August 2020
I know people have their differences with this movie, but here's why I like it... I grew up watching "The Banana Splits Show" on Boomerang when I was young, but even then I barely watched it. So to me, it's a "pick your poison." If you're die hard fans of the Splits, then don't watch it. But if you're looking for an animatronic horror movie until the FNAF movie comes out, then this should hold you over.
