I wish they dove deeper into the "why" this ship was sunk, was it sunk deliberately? Who was aboard that could be a threat to those in power? Talk more about J.p Morgan, follow the money trail. This movie showed me the strength Senator William Alden Smith used and his intuitive abilities because I believe he smelled more than an iceberg. Funny, how we jumped right into a world war right after this historic maritime tragedy, to forget about it. The young journalist Alaine Ricard did quite a heroic journaling/spy job, so did Fiona and I bet they would have reached a nugget closer to the truth if they kept going. The investigations were even rudely remarked on by President Taft which is interesting. If not so rushed the truth would have come forth and whoever was behind it didn't wish for that to happen. A great new perspective that makes you think with this one.
Timing of this movie is interesting. Not much info and very glossed over; it is a fast-moving movie that mostly focuses on what they could do to stop it rather than the real horror that would ensue amongst the people. Zero depth to it; not so engaging and repetitive like most disaster movies. Afterwards you have nothing to take home about it.
The plot could have shown clues amounting over the previous ten years that would point to its inevitability, then shown the aftermath of the people, how they cope, react and how the country was affected, which states got hit worse, and how they go on after the split. What they will do to rebuild....

How can I express this...I went to school with his daughter. I was amazed when I found this, a truly heart-moving life story about her dad, that left them a legacy.....of joy, art, and puppeteering. Caroll had a heart of gold. I remember my obsession about crx's because Caroll bought Melissa one. I never met him, but saw his talent through Ben and Melissa. It was great to see videos of them as children and in interviews. All great people are "different" are sensitive and Caroll was all.
His love story with Debbie was moving and magical, he deserved to be happy. I feel big bird got him through lots of hard times in his life. Sesame Street was a joy to watch and made one feel an energy of all-is-well , especially when big bird was on the set. Oscar, the contrary of big bird, was the other part of him being expressed and it worked out to be funny as can be. A quite endearing story that I feel should be made into a TV movie.
