If: You have left out all expectations, you are full of time, you want to see how best not to make such a movie, you have absolutely nothing else to do, only then watch this crap. It is not even fit for a review. But updating only to save others' time!

This is from 1980's, during my childhood, when a TV Series used to be run on Doordarshan with the Title- Ek Kahani, in which folk tales of different regions used to be telecast.

This particular story: Anaganaga O Athidhi (described as a remake of a Kannada movie in the press and several reviews), is in fact a ditto copy from one of the stories from the Doordarshan series Ek Kahaani from 1980's. As I remember, it might have been either from a background of Rajasthan or Gujarat based story, where, the Son returns to the family after many many years.

In the original story the family gives shelter to the travellers who stop by in the nights as a stop over. The family never takes money originally from them but as time goes, they become greedy for money and start killing those who stop by and loot them. The last kill is of their son.

It is certainly a great movie, what takes the maximum points is its cast, less known actors, made it real simple. But for a few Technical aspects, could have done well to score a perfect 10. And loved the ending, as it was almost a right guess from me as I could predict the ending as the time left was so less at the last, that It couldn't have any other finish. But, surely it is a #MustWatch movie and certainly a lot different from the usual movies which have become so routine. The Main Hero and Heroine did a good job. The make up on the Heroine was not natural and it was obvious that it was forced upon, could have done better on makeup part. She did her part very well.

The portrayal of the characters in the film is brilliant and is etched on my mind. It surely stands as a monumental piece of cinema and the screenplay is indeed a magnificent accomplishment.

The character of Oskar Schindler as a greedy German businessman and his transformation as he becomes a humanitarian while experiencing the effects of the unleash of terror of Nazi reign which compells him to turn his factory into a refuge for Jews. To have saved 1100 Jews from being gassed at the Auschwitz concentration camp is in itself one of the greatest real life accomplishments, which we can experience very closely.

The brilliance of Steven Spielberg directing the movie clearly makes people realize the real life experience of horrors that the Jews went through during the Holocaust. It is indeed a masterpiece. The use of black and white makes it special.

The 5.3 / 10 rating on your site is highly exaggerated for this film. The story is far away from the truth as the very fundamental requirement for a biopic is to get as close to the reality as possible, which is completely out of line in this case.

I have closely been associated with many units of Armed forces including that of Air Force. They have always been courteous and very well mannered. I have engaged with them both in personal as well as professional capacities. Their discipline, approach and support has always been exemplary.

The very fact that they did not screen the film and did not get the necessary clearance from the Air Force, itself is proof that the producers had ulterior motives. There is every possibility that there is some conspiracy behind this. I would look forward to hearing about some kind of action from the Government authorities and Air Force on this.

It is not Worth watching. Thumbs down.
