I got a lot more than I expected, the psychological ride was better than most horror movies. Actually, I wouldn't call this a horror, it is a psychological drama. At times, sure the editing made it so the acting appeared bad, but I'd say well acted. The lead actress is very good, screaming annoys me though(hard to avoid in this movie!). The YouTube actors also did quite a good job. It more of a homage to 80,90's horror movies, which I loved! Jason, Freddy, the fact no one believes the victim. I also noticed some pretty shoddy continuity in the opening kill scene, not subtle, blatant continuity conflict. Either way, I stand by my 7/10(6.5/10).
Man, the opening scene was the best in the movie. What happened after that was poor acting and a really bad script. Once you have watched every movie/TV show you've wanted to watch ...and you have nothing left, this movie should tied you over. Some good actors from back in the day, like early Dave Chappelle movies make an appearance and that was the highlight for me. A crappy zombie movie and I know that everyone involved knew it, but it was too late, they were already making it. I'll be fair and say that most of the actors did what they could, but some were just terrible. This movie is for someone who is bored for a night in, although it will give good entertainment.
The opening 10 minutes, could have been so good, if it wasn't for weak acting and a poorly written script. Not to mention the fact that they dubbed another voice over a nurse.
After that, the movie kept me guessing, I was certain I knew how the movie was going to end, then changed my mind again and again, until it ended the way I initially expected it to.
It's a good psychological thriller about a serial killer and the movie only shows the violence that is necessary, which is in good taste.
I liked this movie overall. It killed 100 minutes of life with the flu.
In the end, I'm glad I didn't turn it off.
