Avataro Sentai Donbrothers (2022)

It doesn't have to be perfect, but leave it with good memories.

Just like Zenkaiger.

DonBrothers really takes a different approach to bring up Sentai Series.

If you expect a fully intense action, then get ready to be disappointed because it went repetitive when it gets further.

The main focus of this series is actually drama comedy with female as the main POV/Main Character.

And the other unique formula thing is the members aren't actually "permanent", they can easily switched with other candidates under few conditions like retired, passed away, etc.

Which is mean DonBrothers could be everyone, so does the enemies. That's why there's no final boss or the actual main source of problems. Because their war cycle is neverending.

That's already 3 points why DonBrothers is unusual yet executed it good :

• Having a girl as MC.

• No final boss.

• Members can easily changed except Don Family/Descendants.

And at the end, I love how it actually ended. Each character got their own spotlight & development. Even though it's a bittersweet ending yet they really wrapped it beautiful.

If Zenkaiger happily together in a same journey, DonBrothers happily separated in their own journey. It feels like a school graduation.

Kudos for all cast and crews to bring this series, especially "Kohaku Shida" as Kito Haruka/Onisister, she's truly MVP of DonBrothers.

Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)

The real "Multiverse of Madness"

I've been watch those two "Multiverse" genre movies and this one is the true multiverse of madness. Visually pleasing, great acting from all actors, great concept, great choreography, simple yet great storyline, packed in one of the greatest movie ever made.

It's like a huge portion of sandwich, but they didn't put with what it left, THEY PUT EVERYTHING WITH WHAT THEY HAVE yet still managed to make it look like sandwich and taste like a good sandwich.

The multiverse itself might be a huge distraction for a simple storyline, but it's the essential part to make a great world building unlike *cough* Strange *cough* that's just passing by and gone.

Overall, best movie in 2022.

Kikai Sentai Zenkaijâ (2021)

A series that you didn't like but hate if they leave.

A Wacky, Funny and Heartwarming series.

This is what I describe in this series.

Some of you might be not interested with some kind of light & simple stories like this but if you want some a good time Comedy and little bit spice of drama, this might be a good show for you and your family (or kids)

Don't worry about the plot because it's not that complicated or dark, just enjoy it like how those protagonists actually vibing around and less serious in fighting which is hilarious.

It might be not great in terms of story, yet it's a great celebration for 45th Super Sentai Anniversary. A nice birthday cake for all fans.

Overall, Zenkaiger is much like an extrovert friend that we didn't like much because of their behavior yet deep inside we actually hate it if they finally leave by our side.

Kamen Raidâ Seibâ (2020)

Just as their insert song : "Rewrite The Story"

The story feels rushed and full of plotholes, it almost like they knew how to start and how to end the story but confused about how to fill the middle part of it.

Too many characters and stuff? Maybe try to learn Ryuki, it well executed.

Some forms only shows up in a few episode and poof! It's gone, even not existed in "Final (Basic) Form"

The only part that is done well is their choreography, the fight looks cool tho.

Overall, this series is just like their insert song of the series. "Rewrite The Story"

Kamen Raidâ Jiô (2018)

Not good but not that worst

This series is nothing but a walking showcase. Sure, it has a cool suit and badass. But the story has a huge plothole in middle with rushed explanation.

Just imagine you're entering a luxury-looking restaurant, treating you like VIP but they only serve you with Appetizer and Dessert. No Main Course at all, as you finished those menu, you're little bit satisfied but your stomach doesn't get enough food & nutrition, at the end, you've just waste a lot of money for expensive snack. Kamen Raidâ Birudo (2017)

Characters + Story = BEST MATCH!

I currently watch the kamen rider neo heisei phase, sure it's fun and unique in their own story until I stop at Kamen Rider Build. Politics, Drama, Action and Character development in this series are well "built". Each episode often leaves cliffhanger that driven me to see more of it and every character has their own purposes which is none of them are pure evil, only manipulated by the main villain and let themselves to be consumed by their own greed. This is a perfect example how to make a great Kamen Rider series. Not only show a cool suits and kick the bad guys, but also deliver a good message and story that each action/choice has it's own consequences. This series makes me excited just like I watch Kuuga & Agito
