I am a bit wary of sequels, though there are several movies which are the best in Part 2, like Terminator or Expendables.
Beetlejuice was such a classic back in the 80's and so hard to emulate that I was a bit suspicious. The beginning of the movie was a bit slow and uneven, but as the plot progressed the film got better.
Winona, Jenna, Catherine, Michael and others did a wonderful job and so admirably funny, with a gusto of allusions and excellent quips.
I did enjoy the film, the second half being awesome and hilarious.
Michael Keaton is a huge winner here, as well as Winona Ryder, but Jenna Ortega shows her style, too. Another excellent asset which is a strong base for success is a win/win soundtrack. The wedding one is a hit, hit, hit.
I do recommend to watch it, this is a great and very fresh sequel!

The Great Wall? I heard, Matt Damon's own daughter mocked him for this abysmal movie. Well, she was right, and we are warned.
This is a hilaroiusly bad film, with terrible CGI, not so really real but very laughable dinos or whatever species they are, with horrid acting from Matt and Defoe, with abysmal dismal plot and very very very silly ending.
Someone wrote that this film must be names The Lousy Wall - couldn't they be more correct! Terrific depiction of a very expensive budget wasted on predictable and rather bland ideas, What is even more horrid, main heroes leave us cold and deriding. This sums it all up.

When Brits try to make a Western, they have this - poorly written script, bad dialog, very prolonged scenes, very poor timing, laughable battle scenes, very silly grimaces, terrible chase action sequence, factual errors, anachronisms, unbelievable heroes, comic evil guys, terrible effects, strange music, very unsuitable pacing, extremely strange logic, with, say, attack scene, where the questions arise - ladders and cannon range. It all is crowned with a very funny finale, predictable plot twists and on top of that - blatant re-read of some famous US Westerns, like those about Wild West.
Oh, and the portrayal of local bad tribes is just a huge joke in all senses.
Little terrible plot, too long a film, too silly a delivery.
