This could've been the 2nd Film and Halloween Kills could've been the last, if you switched it up obviously for the third film and had a Fantastic ending. But this? This was too random. There was no explanations to anything, just alot of stuff to question. It feels like Blumhouse had a slasher film ready, and then they thought of adding Michael Myers, Laurie, and Haddonfield into the story. I don't want the same thing as the last film, i just wish the movie was BETTER. It was so random! This didn't feel complete, I loved a lot of things they did, but they took a turn for the worst, even when it came to October 31st in the film, there was no sign of Halloween anywhere! This felt like another slasher film with Halloween weaved into it. You left so many questions and my question to Blumhouse, Danny Mcbride and David Gordon green is...WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? WHY WOULD YOU TWIST UP HALLOWEEN LIKE THIS? YOU WERE ON A ROLL WITH HALLOWEEN 18 AND HALLOWEEN KILLS...We don't need the fancy, psychological, curse treatment.
The film was shot so beautifully! So, camera operators and editors congratulations! But the film itself is the same tired bs, the predator becomes an idiot and looks dumb! Just like the Jeepers Creepers 3, he runs into trees and shoots himself. And Jeepers Creepers 3 was BAD! This film should've had more heart. The Revenant is so much better and there's no Predator or Alien in that film. Don't expect much from the HULU HOOP.
They really had guys in fireproof suits just stand there getting sprayed with a flame thrower off screen!!! It was too obvious! Haha yes the guys in the hazmat fire suits just get hit with a flame thrower off screen! It's very obvious and just cheap...there was no little girl with super powers. It's all just a flame thrower and some small explosions off screen! CHEAP and horribly executed...Good thing the main little girl can act! She was great. And why did they torture a Cat? Your film isn't good enough or strong enough to kill off animals lol...The movie The Godfather (1972) could've killed 100 cats and dogs during its runtime, as long as that amazing impactful storyline is still there, I will let it pass...While this cheap film gets NO PASSES.
