Wow. The tracking shots. The art direction. The gags. The comedy. Superb screenplay. Beautifully-crafted and with great attention-to-detail!
It's quirky and it's funny and it has loads of great dialogue with sequences such as a great boat chase and the early opening sequence with Wallace getting ready being just utter standouts.
The storyline is quite repetitive. Don't fix what doesn't go wrong as they say. Our heroes; Wallace and Gromit get framed by the penguin and it's up to them or really Gromit to decode the situation and save Wallace and get back the diamond!
It's heist film and it's a children's film and it's an adult's film as well! It's an action film and a comedy film as well. It's got superb narrative and the time it takes to create these sets and to do the detail is staggering.
This is a hugely impressive feat and the ratings are a bit underrated for me. It is also amazing at how consistently good it is and how fresh it feels despite similar storylines and classic scripting since the 1990's! I've got older and wiser with Wallace and Gromit and I'm hoping that you and your kids may as well! Awesome. 9/10.

I really enjoyed this. Finally Netflix delivers a super hardcore gritty action noir flick about the tribal struggles of 1850's America and colonialistic greed.
The sad thing is it's now 2025 and we still have colonialistic greed and blame economic migrants on being illegal when there really is no need. Men still suffer.
Acting-wise it's top-draw. I absolutely ADORE how there is native Indians and the language is used properly. The action is very intense and in-your-face and I was thinking hey this is like The Reverent to find out it's the same writer!
I don't want to give much away but if you want fast and fun action and a critical essay into greed and violance and it's consequences then this is perfect. Imagine if John Woo and Takashii Miike did Django. 9/10.
