This biopic mostly has a lot of talking and plan arranging, which makes it kind of boring and hard to follow. The only part that kept me on the edge of my seat was Apollo 11's mission to the Moon. The scenes where Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin approached and walked on the Moon had a good feel. The special effects of the Moon are what made this movie win the Oscar for Best Visual Effects. I wanted Avengers: Infinity War to win that award, but the Moon scene was reasonable to let this movie win. I was surprised that the team who made La La Land, a musical, made this movie which is a space biopic.
When I heard that this episode was coming, I was excited, because it guest starred Johnny Depp as the legendary surfer, Jack Kahuna Laguna. I thought it would have a cool opening, but no, it was an average opening. I also thought it was like a movie, like Atlantis Squarepantis, but no, it's only 22 minutes, like Where's Gary? This episode happens to be where I first knew Davy Jones of Monkees, who played himself, and Bruce Brown, the surfing narrator who did the '60s documentary, The Endless Summer. I thought the screenplay was poorly written. I all-in-all thought this show was poorly written.
