I watched this movie because I really like Amy Groening and Robert Buckley. I was really excited to see that Hallmark finally gave Amy Groening a major role.
The movie premise was original. The movie was hilarious and heartwarming. The story was about two very sad and lonely people who had a good support system, but needed something in their lives. Amy Groening's family provides a group of entertaining and hilarious people. Robert Buckley character is funny, but sweet as always. His facial expressions in this movie are classic.
I hope Hallmark continues to give Amy Groening major roles. There have been multiple Hallmark movies where she was the best thing in the movie.

I was super excited to see a new Curious Caterer. I've read all the books and enjoy seeing them made into movies. I'll say up front, having watched the commercials for the movie, I was a little worried I might be tuned off by Nikki DeLoach's but it worked for her. This movie is a must see.
The story was a good mystery. It offered a lot of twists, but kept one involved and interested in the movie. The regular cast and the guest cast did a great job.
The chemistry between Andrew W. Walker and Nikki DeLoach was fantastic.
I'm really hoping they continue this series. It rivals Mystery 101 and Aurora Teagarden.

I was so sad when Candace Cameron Bure left Hallmark for GAF became I knew I would miss the Aurora Teagarden movies. I was super excited when I saw the addition of the Ainsley McGregor Mysteries with Candace. I will preface this review by saying I have read all the books and really like them.
The story stayed true to the book. Nice mystery, not preachy, and less violent than the book. I was a little worried with Aaron Ashmore playing Jake as I envision him as a really bad guy from Ginny and Georgia, but he was great in the movie. The movie was suspenseful, well written, well acted, Glad they kept the dog. Looking forward to the next one.
