Metallic-Sting

I saw this pop up on Netflix multiple times but kept thinking nah I cant watch it as I totally judged it by the title of the movie. But I watched the trailer for it and thought I'd give it a crack. So glad I did! Story line is brilliant. Special effects are amazing. The fight screens are brutally awesome. Actors are perfectly chosen for their roles. Alba Baptista (Ava) is just stunning and couldn't play the role better if she tried. Toya Turner (Shotgun Mary) is bad ass and is a much needed character for the series. Keep her on.

All in all this show needs more publicity. Perhaps if it was called "Halo" or something more subtle than what it is it might rouse more interest perhaps. I really do think the name of the show is why no one watched it. I even got teased when I said what I was watching as everyone totally judges by the name. It sounds corny. I heard Netflix canned season 3. I'm praying someone else pays up for season 3 instead. I want more. Love this show.

Too many people are rating this movie as an adult. And thus the rating is lower than it should be. My kids love it and really want it back on Netflix. I've watched it and whilst it's a low budget for what it is it's pretty damn good. 10 out of 10 from my 7 and 9 year old boys.
