Riley was eloquent and articulate. There's not a lot of additional info in the special that wasn't already in the book but I think Riley did a good job of sharing her mother's story.
Oprah was as fake and disingenuous as ever. She is one of the worst interviewers and has always been that way. Talking over guests, repeating obvious information that Riley just said...she made watching this a chore but I pushed through because I thoroughly enjoyed the book and wanted to hear more of what Riley had to say.
Like the title says, I would've enjoyed it better had it been anyone but Oprah doing the interview. She always has to make everything unnecessarily about her and it took away from the viewing experience.

It may not be the best movie but it's one of the movies I always enjoy no matter how many times I watch it.
I don't know what it was about this movie but I just couldn't connect to it. I had to force myself to finish it (I hate not finishing a movie regardless of how much I dislike it). I like the premise and the originality of it but I just didn't find it all that good.
