Bold and unapologetic, the film unearths both the virtuous and flawed facets of Amar Singh Chamkila's persona, portraying him as an artist consumed by his craft and beholden to his audience. His tumultuous journey, from the fervor of his initial marriage to the shadows of his past, unfolds with raw authenticity, painting a vivid portrait of a man ensnared by his own legacy.
Diljit Dosanjh's portrayal of Chamkila is nothing short of mesmerizing, effortlessly embodying the complexities of the enigmatic artist, while Parineeti Chopra delivers a compelling performance in her supporting role.
What sets "CHAMKILA" apart is its meticulous attention to detail, drawing inspiration from real-life events and seamlessly integrating archival footage and evocative animations. Drive is just a wannabe Fast and Furious made by a director worse than Kid's movie directors. The CGI is so pathetic even a 9 year old can tell its fake. Both the actors were reading lines and the acting was pathetic. The story had no sense and logic. Budget for this movie was solely put into modifying Nano and Maruti Swift for racing scenes. The VFX was so bad even I could do better CG than the guy who did CG on this movie, A total waste of time,Also the important part of any film is sound and boy o boy this movie has some crap background score, some scenes literally have a dude saying "Tu jaanta ni mera baap kon hai" as the main background score, chase scenes have no sound just tyres screeching over the roads. Thanks to KJo for giving us another bad movie this year Man's on a Hattrick, Thank god this movie wasn't released in theatres, ups on that but I don't know how Netflix agreed to publish this movie. Spy Kids 3D had a better CG than this movie. Poor Storyline, Worst Direction, Bad Execution, Weak Acting and Pathetic Background Score.
Would Rate it 0 out of 10 if that was possible.
