this show is pretty cool. its good to see an "alternative" show that doesn't use its "alternativeness" as the only catch. it has some pretty good tips. lots of easy tips to follow if you are on a budget or like vintage/retro furniture and looks.
it has a really odd underlying humor (not anything sexual) that makes it very compelling to watch. something strangely appealing (again not sexual) about this one.
it has the same numbing glowing quality as the teletubbies. i don't know what makes a show like this, but it definitely is. so turn it on, glaze over, and lose track of time.

this game is a lot like 'the godfather'. it might be cool to say you like it, even if you don't 'get' it.
i think that reviewing video games on the IMDB is kind of odd, but this game expands the boundaries. it really truly is almost like a movie in which you take a part in. the voice acting is great, the graphis are of course amazing. the city of lost heaven lives and breathes, the car models change as the years go on. the story develops nicely. some people complain about the driving being slow. i think its nice to cruise around the beautiful city, enjoying the lazy old music. its a nice contrast to the intense gunfights and car chases!
yes, there will be bugs. guess what? this isn't PC gamer. i dont think people should be complaining about technical issues or difficulty here. that's like saying 'i hate reservoir dogs because i can't get the disc into my DVD player'. grow a brain!
this game gets my highest rating... 4 stars, 10 out of 10, 2 thumbs up, whatever!

Ever since I saw "The Silence of the Lambs" when I was young, I have been fascinated by serial killers and forensics. I've been to forensics lectures, watched every detective show on television, and read every website on Dahmer and Gacy that I could find. Naturally I was disappointed with "Hannibal", because it was just another horror movie. When I learned that "Red Dragon" would feature Ed Norton, I was ready to get in line!
For once, I saw a movie that actually lived up to my expectations, and then some. This movie is as good, if not better than "Silence". The thing I enjoy so much about these type of detective movies is the scenes where you can almost see the "gears turning" as the detective tries to put the puzzle together. If you have seen "Red Dragon", you know very well that Norton's early scene in the hotel room, with pictures covering the floor, fits this description.
On top of a very good, suspenseful story, there are flashes of images and camera angles that make the viewer cringe, jump, and stare.
