Harley Quinn was as annoying as any character I have ever seen. Having no background on the Suicide Squad it seems she nailed the role according to several reviews but I cringed every time I had to hear her voice or even look at her. Between this and her non role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood I cannot stand to see anything she is in.

Same opinion 20 yrs later....

We have been revisiting the 1st and 2nd trilogies after seeing the conclusion of the third. This movie has been my least favorite and it still holds that title for me. I did enjoy Obi and Qui-Gon and the fight sequences involving Dark Maul were good but the same issues I had when I originally watched were even more aggravating somehow now. Jar Jar Binks-What can I say that hasn't been said? He would have been annoying given a few minutes screen time but I must have blocked out how big of a role he had. Just painful to watch. Also Natalie Portman has zero charisma and is as wooden as she's ever been. Im a bit fan of the franchise so gave it 5 stars as it is a piece of that larger puzzle but do not think I'll include it in future binges. I thought time and nostalgia might soften my view but that was not the case.

Very entertaining movie and made me laugh throughout. A wonderful reminder of just how talented Leo and Brad are. Best parts for me was watching Jack trying to cope with the fact that his star is on the decline. Scene in trailer with him after messing up lines was perfection. Like several have commented my main complaint would be all of the time spent with Sharon Tate. It didn't add anything to the plot and would have been fine seeing a lot less of her-she was actually pretty annoying and one dimensional throughout. Loved the surprise ending. Was waiting for the cutaway to show what happened to Cliffs wife....pretty sure I can imagine it. Lol.
Repo Men

Holds up 9 years later

Just a great old fashioned action/thriller that is not watered down for a PG-13 rating. Thought it held up quite well and Jude Law, Forest Whitaker and Liev Schreiber were having a blast playing these over the top characters. Seems like a lot of reviewers are taking it much to seriously. Watch it for the entertainment that it is and you will not be disappointed!

Met my low expectations

Wow where to start? Won't waste a lot of time on Brie-she has zero charisma or range. Samual Jackson was great IF you thought of him as a different character then Fury. The entire ha ha look at the nineties fell flat and the soundtrack was distracting at best. I went from being mildly entertained to highly annoyed when I'm Just a Girl broke out and the movie slipped into Disney sitcom territory. Two best things about the movie is the cat and Jude Law back to form after playing Dumbledore.

How many times do I have to hear "I'm looking for Tamar Hodel"?!

Warning: Spoilers
I was excited about a new take on the Black Dahlia story and the man accused, Dr Hodel. Instead I've watched four eps of Fauna running around saying her signature line and Chris Pine playing one of the most obnoxious characters of all time. Seriously the scenes with the editor are boring and ridiculous. Who would employ this maniac and keep giving him assignments that won't be done? This went nowhere and instead of focusing on the real meat of the story I've had to watch these two idiots bumble along. I'm assuming when he enters the room with the paintings in ep 4 that was supposed to be a pivotal ah ha scene except it wasn't. The audience has seen the paintings and knows the Dr is involved. Another episode where nothing new is brought to the table. The only interesting character is Dr Hodel and he is barely to be seen. Im skipping ep 5 and going straight to the finale just to see if there is anything redeeming. This show killed Chris Pine for me.

Only network drama I watch
4 February 2019
I've never been able to stomach the majority of network dramas (I can't believe Grays Anatomy is still on the air!) but this one I love. Frankly the weekly array of patients most with highly unlikely scenarios (a pedophile trying to castrate himself, a mother processing the decision to send her son away within a ER visit, etc) is the type of schlocky stuff I cannot stand but Shaun Murphy & Co provide the glue that makes your heart swell when you watch the show. It's interesting to see how the other Doctors interact with Shaun and they each in their own way help to give him different points of view that has helped him enrich his life personally and professionally. Mind you I'm not snobby about network television but just haven't been drawn in to most of the programming when the competition has expanded so greatly!
I have to say it-I hate Lea

Yes she has her moments bringing Shaun out of his comfort zone and being sensitive to his feeling but that leaves me even more frustrated that she would not recognize the pain bringing Jake home would cause him. In many ways she plays the part of a gf and given Shaun's struggles with relationships she should have some sense of how hurtful this would be. Plus I literally cringe every time she says "Glassy". lol
