Not sure why the hate is so real! I loved this film, it had a lot of depth of character that shined through the enormity of a NY back drop. It felt like a real love, with real characters. The fashion was masterful and inspiring, it really highlighted the beauty and authenticity of the mostly melanated cast.
I can't say enough good things about it! The love story was pretty but raw at the same; no easy feat. I was rooting for them from the beginning! The "older woman - younger man" trope is so grim most of the time but the Perfect Find manages a fresh new take that's worth sitting through to encounter every twist and turn of the plot. We'll done! I'll definitely rewatch.

First: So glad to see John doing well! I can only imagine the bravery it took to show himself authentically after such a tumultuous turn. He deserves all of his flowers for hilariously navigating addiction in a fresh way that still rings as John.
Second: Solid stand up! There was indeed a "wide ranging" of material that really cracked me up! From intervention to GQ, I was entertained! Through the comedic delivery there were still some sobering moments where you can see how down bad John was and how uglier things could have gotten for him.
Definitely watch! I'll be watching again. So proud that John is sober, wishing him all the best!
A John Mulaney Stan E.

I was actually amazed how relatable this show is. I was expecting a so so comedy to have on as background noise and was more than pleasantly surprised. VERY well written show, with charming cast, and laugh out loud jokes with fantastic delivery.
Some scenes caught me off guard with how relatable they were! A show that nails word for word the thoughts/hardships of a 30 something's human experience is mystifying; (i.e family dynamic, expectations vs. Reality, "the apps") all masterfully done. Well done writers! Many more seasons please! I haven't even finished yet and am in love!
