Salò o le 120 giornate di Sodoma (1975)
A sick product of a sick mind
Pointless peace of garbage! Criticism of fascism? No, this is not that, just a sick fantasies of a sick mind, with no point or message at all! Only purposeless disgusting scenes which were filmed just to be disgust, there's nothing "deep" and "artistic" one can found here! The strongest feeling I had after watching this garbage was - the censorship is a great invention of the mankind! I greet all those countries that banned this "movie", it should be treated the way the satanist and pedophilia products are, and the people who sell/buy this, should be prosecuted. I need to agree with those who say that only positive thing about this "movie" is that it's out of print!
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon (2001)
Very subjective propaganda movie
The comments here are more related to the event than to the movie itself. Here we read what WE think about the Moon landing, which is not the point of these comments. I think this movie is not good, because it is a propaganda movie, not a documentary. The author should have tried to be more objective and to try to give us another opinions, not only his (For example, FOX's documentary "Conspiracy Theory, Did We Land On The Moon?" did it much better). But this movie has some good moments, such as a parallel with JFK's assassination - it is a great example how the government has been making the fools of its citizens for decades, and will be making, years from now. Hey, really, what are they afraid of, why everything has to be sealed for such a long time? There must be a big lie involved! And what I think about the lending - I believe it's a hoax, because the American government is such a great liar! And I don't need evidences presented in this movie - for me, my own evidences and common sense is quite enough: why Mr. Armstrong left the Apollo program and NASA itself almost right after the first "lending"? Why he has never talked to the press, except on a couple of press conferences with "no further questions" pattern? Why several astronauts and Apollo-related people died mysteriously? Why Soviets have never land on the Moon, when they were much more ahead of Americans in space exploration (3 years in unmanned hard landing missions to the Moon)? Do you think they gave up just like that? Why don't we go to the Moon nowadays, it should be peace of cake compared with 1960s and 1970s efforts? It is 35 years (and counting) from the final Apollo mission, don't you tell me there is nothing left to explore on the Moon! And for God sake, how could it happen the original tapes are missing, it is FIRST MOON LANDING, not just a students' excursion - sorry, we lost our tapes, just like that! No one can convince me there wasn't something compromising on those tapes! We have to admit - something really funny happens, despite the evidences and "evidences". Personally, I think the man is not capable of going to the Moon and returning safely.
The Blue Lagoon (1980)
Somebody think we are imbeciles
I can't believe someone can say this is a great movie! What makes it great? Beautiful scenes of paradise island? If you like such scenes, than don't watch movies, find some screen savers with those motives instead. There are a plenty of them. I feel insulted by the authors. I don't know who wrote a bad story, the book writer or the movie writer, and I don't care. Numerous stupidities insults my intelligence. For example, under-teen kids don't know anything about pregnancy, but are very skilled in building a cabin, and what a cabin! Like a 3-star hotel bungalow, with several levels, floors, balconies... (I am 35, I wouldn't be able to make such an object within my whole life). The parody in "Top secret" movie was very clear. Than, I can accept that 8 years old kids hadn't seen pregnant woman ever before and that they know nothing about pregnancy, but I CAN'T accept the same kids perfectly know how to cut the umbilical cord of a newborn child. At the same time, they'd never heard of or seen mothers suckle their babies! Ridiculous! Than, it is also pretty impossible to share such a small island with savages and never to be seen by them for several years. These few examples are enough for me to consider this movie a peace of crap. I gave 2/10 only for some really nice scenes of nature and two young beautiful people. And yes, I'm not sure whether the parrots have been credited, but they should have been!
Smallville: Stray (2002)
Very touching
I started to re-watch "Smallville" from the very beginning. As far, I found this 16th episode the best one. Thank God, there's finally one with abilities who is not villain! On the contrary, little Ryan is one little soul that suffers because of his step parents. He is conscious what he does is is wrong and try to resist. He also have a problem to hide his ability because he is just a little boy, so he comments frankly what he finds out in people's thoughts. He dreams about a super-hero who can save the world. The most touching scene is near the end when Ryan gives his super-hero comic books to Clark and says "I don't them any more.I have you". Desperately needing a protector, he finally found his own one. They almost make me cry.
Svemirci su krivi za sve (1991)
Don't waste your time. You better go for a walk.
I gave this movie 1 of 10, because I couldn't find anything that deserve a bit more than that. This is the most stupid movie I have ever watched. Pictured in video technology, with poor story, seems like watching a Latino-TV-series or a hardcore movie. What a waste of money and talent of some of the best Serbian actors! I can't believe they could accept to play in such a stupidity. Pictured in the beginning of the infamous Milosevic's era, this movie seems like an announcement of the way of entertainment Milosevic supported in order to rule the masses: cheap, stupid and easy-to-understand music and movies modulated to his average target group -- uneducated mid-aged and older people who would gladly laugh and enjoy the "comedies" like this movie. Really sad picture of Serbia in the beginning of the 1990s.
Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987)
My childhood idol passed away
I was only 8 when I heard of and saw the first Superman movie. Instantly he became my hero, my idol, everything I would have wanted to be "when I grow older", you know kids' dreams everywhere in the world are very similar. Unfortunately, filmmakers of Superman series continuously have been giving their best to ruin my childhood's dream making only worse and worse movies, both by stories and by production. I would like to sue the makers of Superman IV, because they totally doomed my idol and my fascination. It is a crime above all crimes -- when you destroy a child's imagination and dream. Moreover, the death of Christopher Reeve affected me personally, 'cause I have always thought of him as of Superman. So I definitely lost my childhood heroes.
