The plot of the series is interesting and fresh. Divyanka was really good at playing Shiri. All the characteristics that Shiri has like caring, loving, funny, courageous, the strong determination to prove herself, emotional breakdown everything was perfectly portrayed. Especially the act just before she fell from ladder is well performed.
I absolutely loved the scenes of Javed Jaffery and Divyanka. Their conversations and the way they portrayed the Guru and the student bond after Jadugar Saleem decides to teach magic tricks to Shiri is amazing. I felt the show was slow at 2-3 places in the initial episodes. But over all it's an interesting and engaging show.
The one who played Akash is so handsome and has a good screen presence. I think there should be a bit more of Akash and Shiri!
The challenges shown in the show faced by a woman when she decides to pursue her dreams are so real. Women in certain professions are not taken seriously. The way Shiri gets discouraged by her parents, in-laws, her husband, her daughter and the society...this is exactly how it is in the real society. Loved how Shiri was strongly determined and starts living her life the way she wants to. I really liked how they didn't glorify the sacrifices made by a woman for her family and instead showed that she should prioritise herself, otherwise she would end up being unhappy.

No matter how much people brag about the movie for cinematic experience, adrenaline etc., it is really a bad movie. Even if the misogyny, cruelty, violence are kept aside, then also the movie has no substance and not at all interesting. Few parts of the movie are really uncomfortable and unpleasant to watch. Few scenes are really boring. The script is unnecessarily over the top and lengthy too. The only good thing about the movie is its music. All the songs of this movie are really good.
About the performances, Ranbir Kapoor is undoubtedly the best actor. But I hope he doesn't choose these kind of scripts again. I hate how the talented Tripti Dimri is reduced to an eye candy. Her role is not at all worthy of her amazing acting skills. About Rashmika, I have an unpopular opinion, she was really good. People who are trolling her for that one scene, her aggression and dialogue delivery is justified for that situation. How can you expect a character who has been cheated upon by her husband to react in a subtle and aesthetic manner. Not a fan of Rashmika in general, but her performance was good. Nothing to make fun of.
People who make these kind of movies think that people will watch it only for entertainment and would forget. But these kind of movies badly impact the society. Immature people do exist and they don't understand the difference between reel and real. Whatever we see or consume definitely effects our thoughts process and actions. I hope other film makers don't take inspiration from this movie's hype and make similar movies.

The show is good. But it's a one time watch. Gets boring in some parts. When watching, it reminds me of Family Man in some parts. The story is okay but could have been better. I don't understand why all the ott shows should look the same. They could have tried something very different.
About the performances, loved Eijaz and Divyanka. Eijaz is used to perform such roles and his effortless performance shows his experience. Divyanka, as a cop was really refreshing. In fact, her performance seemed attractive and interesting in most part of the show. However, she has the capability to do better in certain scenes.
These TV fandoms will never change. All the hateful reviews targetting the actors seem to be given on purpose. It is clearly evident from their style of writing. The show is not bad at all. But it gets slow in some episodes. Can definitely give it a try.
