After reading the reviews here and seeing the extreme high and low ratings, it looks to me that some people understood the ending and some did not. In my home, I got it, while my wife didn't, I rated it high, while she did not.
Could this conclusion result in a new generation of this franchise? Those who got it will likely say yes, those who did not get will likely say no.
