A well written feel good family drama portraying a sensitive subject by blending subtle humour.
The plot of the story revolves around two families and a small serious doubt in one family creating chaos dissolving the peace of mind and dynamics within both the families and how they dealt with it forms the storyline.
Rajesh Ravi & Sanu Majeed has layered the story with light humour initially and elevated it into an emotional family drama in the final lap with beautiful performances by the incredible casts. This movie is a reminiscence to few other Malayalam movies in the late 90's and conveyed similar emotions. Hats off to the filmmakers for giving a great movie experience with humourous sequences and emotional downpour in ideal proportion.👌🏻
Stellar performance by Vinay Fort in the movie and he has effortlessly portrayed the variations in the character through his facial expressions and mannerisms. Sharaf also gave head on performance in the combinations with Vinay and the way he emoted in the climax sequences was brilliant. Lijomol has given a poised performance and Priyamvada also made a matured character delivery. Kunhikrishnan also made impressive performance in the movie with his dialogues rendering style and mannerisms. Mani Shornur,Priya Sreejith & Ashwin made notable performances in the movie.
Manesh Madhavan has perfectly captured the variations from humour to emotions and Lijo Paul has trimmed the movie to a wholesome family drama. Hesham's melodious and meaningful music by Vinayak Sasikumar & Anwar Ali was like a symphony to the ears well complementing with the visuals leaving the audience shed tears in some emotional sequences. Jayadevan's sound designing deserves appreciation. Kudos to the efforts of the Make up artists behind the convincing look of Vinay Fort and Lijomol.
A beautiful family movie with a good screenplay and beautiful narration that can be enjoyed in theatres.

A small fantasy movie infused in humour portraying a human - fly bonding.
The story revolves around a progressively thinking young adolescent guy who accidentally lands up in jail developing a strange bonding with a fly and the exaggerated events that follows forms the crux of the movie.
Dileesh has given life to a good idea and has blended the story with light humour which worked pretty well but has fallen flat in writing especially towards the climax sequences. CG was key to enhancing the portions were fly was a part and the total idea of visualizing the entire story in 3D didn't seem necessary.
Mathew has given a good delivery and his combination with the fly also worked well. Good performances by Prashant Murali,Aswathy Manoharan,Joemon Jyothir,Ashlin,Manoj K Jayan,Ganga Meera & Arun Pradeep. Contributions by sound design,CG,colouring team also needs to be appreciated in enhancing the fantasy world. Soft and gentle music that blended with the story by Vishnu Vijay & Bijibal.
Apart from the minor flaws, Lovely is a passable entertainer with situational humour.

An out and out laughter treat that pulls you into a mind loop with exciting and engaging story served in a humour template.
The plot of the story is about how 4 boys try to tackle the evil intentions of their Professor through a mysterious dice board on the backdrop of an engineering college.
Manu Swaraj has exceptionally placed the story on screen with an incredible screenplay leaving no loose ends. He has effortlessly managed to incorporate mystery and spoof elements without affecting the pace and mood of the story. The brilliance of the script in hooking the audience is blatantly visible by the way he manipulates the minds of the audience. Hats off to you for giving an unforgettable movie experience with immense laughter moments, funny dialogues and interesting developments in the story.
Subtle performance by Suraj and he has carried the mood of an emotionally broken family man precisely. SharafUDheen gave a marvellous delivery through his attitude and his infectious smile. Zandeep has made a stellar performance and he proves that he is here to stay with his unparalleled delivery in the latter half. Arun Ajikumar,Saafboi and Arun Pradeep also made impressive performances as the boys gang and they kept the quirkiness and mood alive through their funny performances and dialogue delivery. Pooja Mohanraj also gave a brilliant performance in the movie through her witty and instant reactions.
Kudos to Anu Moothedan for effortlessly capturing the quirkiness and mystery perfectly trimmed by Nidhin Raj Arol maintaining the pace and vibrance of the story. The scores and BGM's by Rajesh went well synchronized with the story and Renganaath Raave's contribution to sound design is worth mentioning. This is another golden feather to the Friday Film banner exploring and encouraging unique stories.
A perfectly steam cooked and aromatic fun to watch entertainer on the weekends.
