What can I say! This movie is one of the best movies that I have ever seen. No matter how many times I see this movie I just love it more and more. Nastassja Kinski is absolutely delightful as Sofia. Vanessa Redgrave is a great matriarch and James Marsden is great at being the evil and insane Luca.
A JOY!

I watch this movie on a regular basis and absolutely love it. It just makes you treasure love. I recommend it to anyone who loves simple love stories. Plus I fell in love with "I Can't Help Falling In Love With You".
This is one of the best movies that i believe has ever been made. The suspense genre was born on this sort of film and should honestly go back.
The movie centers around a recently blind woman Susy Hendrix(Audrey Hepburn) who is terrorized by thugs seeking a doll full of drugs. With the help of her remaining senses and her young neighbor Gloria, she is about to save herself from the clutches of the tugs. Throughout the film the audience knows a great deal more than Susy Hendrix which creates a great tension in the plot. Hepburn is wonderful as a blind woman and deserved the Oscar nomination for her portrayal. The last few minutes of the movie are the best. I've been told that in these moments of the film in which all the lights are knocked off in Susy's apartment, theater owners would turn off the house lights to create total darkness and enhance the film. I recommend it to every person i meet.
