Honestly. I don't know how I sat through and all of this film. Extremely boring. No real storyline and just weird. The child's crying was annoying. The dad effing off with his kids and Gf after the kids mother commits suicide. Doesn't seem to be much of a dad. Grace was strange. I just don't get the film. It was awful. Would not recommend at all. Unless you like boring films. I think I only managed to sit through it because I was sorting out emails and this was in the background but still a very boring film. It will definitely send you off to sleep if you are struggling to find anything that helps because I guarantee this will be be facial to you.
As soon as I put this film on, I knew it was going to be terrible. You can barely hear the actors talk it is drowned out by over the top false bird tweeting,(that i thought it was outside my window it eas that loud) and other background noises at the beginning. Quality is terrible, camera work is terrible. It's all shaky and blurry. Looks like a bunch of high school teens doing an experimental school documentary or a news reporter doing interviews. Worth the watch if you like to laugh at badly made films. Acting is absolutely terrible. Did have a good laugh at it in my own way. Can't believe this is on prime.
It was a tough watch. But really well done. Only thing I would say ruined it was the Irish police woman/detective. Acting silly, joking about, saying hurtful comments during such a serious, sad situation. Not sure why they felt the need to add the annoying unnecessary bits in like that. Obviously it's very sad and. I do believe that someone would've been better cast as Ian Huntley as I feel he didn't fit the role. Maxine played the part well. I also find it shocking that Ian Huntley had previous complaints, claims and was still allowed to work with children. If checks were done, Holly Jessica would still be here.
