The acting, writing, and the effects could all use a little touch up. There's a part with a giant cgi monster that took me entirely out of the story. The creature looked like it was grabbed from a summer Hollywood blockbuster in 1999. Sometimes the acting slides into hammy territory. There are quiet a few obtuse moves by the characters that had me scratching my head.
With that being said, the movie holds together far better than most B grade horror flicks. It's obvious real effort went into this on all fronts and it shows. Taking into consideration its low budget, it's easier to overlook some of the flaws. If you're bored and want to burn time with something that will mostly hold your attention, check it out!

Another Tubi original that fails to entertain or keep me watching the movie. Struggled to get through the hour and a half running time. Actors don't do a great job, the director doesn't do a great job, and the writers didn't do a great job. Starting to lose hope that there are any originals on Tubi that aren't z level schlock.
Giving the film two stars, which is kind of harsh but I'm getting burned by too many shoddy films. I force myself to sit through them in the hopes that something will shift later on. That almost never happens. If a movie is riding on an old actor or a popular name for people to fork over their time, it's never worth that time.

Every time the eye effects get used in this movie I can't help but squirm a little inside. It's embarrassing to see in a movie released in 2019. There aren't even that many scenes that need effects. The crew didn't care enough to make it not look ridiculous. Speaking of ridiculous things.
The actors don't even run in a natural way! They waddle and scurry so awkwardly! There's a scene where two of the characters are yelling at each other and they speak in this unnatural tone. Like a bunch of aliens got stuck on earth and are hiding by pretending to be terrible actors. Soundtrack is the most generic thing you could ever imagine.
In summary, don't waste your time. One star for no effort at all.
