Not sure if this is a false memory, but I remember a creepier version with more of a discernable plot. The lonely young man is driving around, struggling with loneliness, then joins the party in the dry LA culvert. He is led by a young woman over to a car, gets in, and is engulfed. The party stands around the burning car, watching. I do remember this music video playing during the first 2 years of MTV (when they were kind of desperate for material), but it must have been a censored version.

Really, though, should I need to write a longer review? There are no others, and I am offering what I believe to be some pertinent information.
