Bluey (2018)
Masterpiece
Bluey is one of the most beautiful kids' TV shows of our time. The characters are fun and enjoyable, the stories and games are great, and the humor is perfect, with plenty of silly kid humor like potty humor but also jokes that older teens (such as myself) or adults can enjoy as well. Also, compared to other TV shows these days like Peppa Pig, where all the characters are just whiny and annoying, Bluey and Bingo are actually good role models for children. Also, don't even get me started on the Sleepytime episode! That episode alone deserves an Oscar because of how amazing it is, not to mention it's #17 on the imDb top 100 episodes.
Also, it's worth mentioning that anyone of any age can enjoy Bluey. Young and old, parent or childless, couples or single people. I sincerely hope from the bottom of my heart that Bluey will run for as long as possible, because these are the kinds of TV shows that we need these days, not garbage like Peppa Pig or Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go (which is a whole other rant I could go on)
Overall: 10/10, if I could give it 1,000,000/10 I would, but I'll have to settle for 10/10.
Blue's Clues & You! (2019)
Aweome
Blue's Clues is a childhood classic for many people in my generation. I never did watch it much as a young child, but it's always held a special place in my heart. Just from the trailer I can tell that Josh has all the old charisma and happy energy that Steve and Joe had. Not to mention, Josh was HANDPICKED by Steve, so I don't see why people are complaining about him when he literally has the approval of the original host. And from the reviews apparently they just reuse the old plot episodes, but in my opinion that's not really an issue, at least they're not making episodes with references to controversial topics, which is saying a lot considering the content of some children's shows these days. Overall, I don't see an issue with this reboot, as it's it's a good reboot, and reboots are usually GARBAGE (looking at YOU, Thomas & Friends All Engines Go).
Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre: The Hanging Balloons (2023)
Well...
In my honest opinion, the writers of this episode simply did not take themselves serious at all. I know this whole episode is a reference to suicide, which is a huge problem in Japan, so I can't make jokes about it. However, that won't stop me from saying that the writers could've definitely made this better, because what they made simply looks like it's MAKING FUN OF suicide instead of raising awareness (or whatever they were trying to accomplish). In my opinion, this is one of the better episodes of the series, not because of the underlying theme obviously, but just because the writers simply did not take themselves seriously.
