I loved this movie! It is a romantic comedy, but it is unique and individual than the classic love story. Although somewhat predictable, I never wanted to stop watching because of it. I absolutely loved Amy Adams in this film. She did a great job and really encompassed her character fully. This is definitely a film where you feel attached to the characters and want to continue to see them grow with each other and in themselves as well. The chemistry between the characters was phenomenal. You could truly see and feel the love and tension between them from the very first moment they met. It is a classic enemy to lover storyline, but it really works so well for this film. It is captivating and compelling, and makes you want to continue to watch it. It is so enjoyable to watch, and does not take up any of your energy. I would recommend it as a light-hearted film to watch at the end of a long day to put you in a better mood. The. Production was great and the camera quality was good fro the time it was made. I loved how they had wide shots of Ireland so you got to see what their surrounding areas were like. Overall, I really enjoyed this film. I would definitely watch again. But I will say, after watching, you definitely will want to go visit Ireland, or maybe even move there!

I did not really know much about this movie before watching it. I knew it had won awards and its reputation was that it was one of if not the best movie to come out that year. And I would say it somewhat lived up to that reputation. It was definitely not one of my favorite movies I have seen recently, but the direction and quality of it was too good, it kept me interested. Honestly, part of the reason I did not love it was because of how long it was. I feel like some aspects or scenes could have been cut out, while still maintaining a solid storyline. I also feel this way about the marvel movies that are super long though, so it might just be a personal preference. Ryan and Emma have an amazing chemistry throughout the whole movie. I think it helps that they have played love interests before in other movies too, but they are also just phenomenal actors, so it makes sense. The camera work is one of the best parts about the film. They way it moves with their dancing is so unique. I also like the use of the different angles throughout the film. The coloring is on par and as it would be in real life. Overall, it was a very solid film. I do not fully understand the hype around it, but I can appreciate good cinematography and strong acting, which were both present in this film.

This is a classic film in my opinion, right up next to the Breakfast Club. It is one that will never go out of style, and will never stop being great. Matt Damon is a phenomenal actor, and really dives right into this character in the best way. The supporting characters are also phenomenal and you almost immediately become attached to them, and want to see them grow. The script is very well-done, with snarky little phrases and witty remarks scattered throughout. Again, something that will never go out of style. The storyline is so compelling. You really get to see Matt Damon's character grow and change into this phenomenal man. I think all audiences love to see that in movies- major character growth. I originally started watching this movie for Matt Damon, and because I had heard of it many times before but never watched it. And I am glad I finally made the time to watch it. The styling was one of my favorites from any movie I have seen thus far. The costumes were fun and matched each character perfectly, I loved getting to see Matt Damon's character's friends outfits especially. Overall, a great film and a classic that everyone should watch. It is lighthearted but impactful, and I think it would appeal anyone, not matter which type of film is your favorite. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun friday night movie.
