Like many of the classics from the 80's, I am left wondering why this was never adopted for Broadway. I always thought that the story in this album was compelling. It never gets old. I listen to it and over. Brings me back to my youth as though I was there. Roger seems to kind of take himself a bit too seriously these days, but the stuff on this album is great. Love the horns. And it is timely. Seems more truth than fiction given our circumstances as of late. The exception that there seemed to be a more established set of rules for state diplomacy in the 80s. We're dancing on the edge of a knife regarding nuclear diplomacy these days. Alas. Maybe we need more like Roger screaming bloody murder... regardless of what you think of his work, he has a story to tell.
