'Link Click' (2021-) is a prime example of a time travel show done right, it has very few mistakes in its logic, actually none from what I saw, and on top of that, it has an original and exiting plot, from its lovable main duo to its fantastic character depth, this is a absolutely stunning series. It took me a few days to watch the first season, that season was really amazing, emotional but also managing to be funny at times, season two is A LOT darker, with its story being better but also may not fully satisfy everyone however it opens a world of possibilities for a season three, it's also worth noting, the intro and outro songs are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!
'Banana Fish' (2018) is a heavy hitting series exploring dark themes which may prove to much for some people. The whole series is very well done, from the extraordinary and captivating voice acting, to the believable and near-human characters and the fantastic plot line which plays with your emotions, this is easily one of the best pieces of media I have ever seen. Throughout its twenty four episode run, this series takes you on a journey which will linger in your mind for a long, LONG while. Despite being an anime, this is one of the most realistic series I've seen, from characters having realistic dialogue and motivations to the fights never seeming fake at all, it's truly a crime at how underrated this is.
When I initially watched 'The Void' (2016) I went in with only the IMDB description of it (and also the rating/ crew I guess) but when I say this masterpiece blew me away for it's entire runtime, I mean it! This also includes all my re-watches as well! When I first found it, the only actor I knew in it was Aaron Poole (who I had seen in Quibi's/Roku's original series 'most dangerous game' (2020-2023), and would later see in 'The conspiracy' (2012) and 'The empty man' (2020)) and I knew it had a small budget (fun fact it was a crowdfunded project) but with what they had, I can confidently say they've done a fantastic job. From my knowledge, most of the things seen in it (monsters, gore, etc) were practical effects and WOW do they look good). The plot line is very good and the end leaves some things to the watchers memory to fill in but mostly things are explained and it doesn't leave a concerning amount of questions, acting is mostly good,
my main note is that FOR ME it was more unsettling then it was scary
Overall it was an amazing film which I wish has a second (by any means necessary), it definitely needs more attention and a FAR higher rating.
