I love the Remedy Universe. After finishing Alan Wake 2, I just had to return to the original after I hadn't played it since the Xbox 360 days and it's aged like fine wine. The remastered version is also very good but doesn't work on the Steam Deck. The original runs brilliantly. The only issues as others point out is it's quite repetative but it makes up for that in story and plot. Any fans of the original game I would absolutely highly recommend Alan Wake 2, One of the best games I have played in the last few years. The characters, pace, plot and atmosphere are absolutely brilliant. I might have to revisit them both on hardest difficulty. 9/10.
